Donations to Open Door: (Lanesville, Gloucester) We think it is important for everyone to be able to eat healthy vegetables. Next year, we are again looking to provide low-income families in the Cape Ann area with vegetables from Farmer Dave’s. Throughout CSA registration, we will be collecting donations that will go to purchasing CSA shares for the Open Door, a local hunger relief organization. Since 2007, Farmer Dave’s has been donating produce to the Open Door, and through your contributions we will make an even greater impact. As you fill out your registration form, please consider making a donation to this fund, and help provide fresh vegetables to those in the area who would otherwise not be able to afford them.
