About Farmer Dave’s: 

Farmer Dave’s is a diversified fruit and vegetable farm operating on approximately 90 acres in Dracut, Massachusetts. Our mission is simple: growing healthy food, building strong community, and creating lifelong traditions. 

We are committed to producing healthy food while caring for our employees, our customers, our land, and the environment. Our year-round farm stand is located in Dracut, with an additional seasonal farm stand in Tewksbury. We operate a year-round Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, attend numerous farmers markets, and offer seasonal Pick-Your-Own experiences including strawberries, blueberries, apples, flowers, and more. 

Our commercial kitchen transforms farm-grown produce into baked goods and prepared foods, helping us reduce waste and strengthen local food systems. We are a hardworking, collaborative team that values curiosity, flexibility, and a positive attitude. 

Position Overview 

Farmer Dave’s is seeking a dependable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our Produce Packing Team. This seasonal position is available immediately and is expected to continue through the end of October. 

Summer schedules may include full-time hours, with reduced hours possible during the fall season based on business needs. While this is a seasonal role, additional opportunities may be available for qualified candidates. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Receive produce from field crews  

• Wash, sort, grade, pack, and properly store produce  

• Maintain accurate production and inventory records  

• Count and track produce quantities  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment  

• Load and unload trucks as needed  

• Follow food safety, quality control, and workplace safety procedures  

• Perform other duties as assigned  

Qualifications 

• Must be at least 18 years of age  

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation  

• Previous experience in agriculture, produce handling, warehousing, food production, or a related field preferred, but not required  

• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse multi-lingual team  

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail  

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable  

• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including outdoor weather, warm packing areas, and refrigerated storage spaces  

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physically demanding work for extended periods  

• Reliable transportation to and from work
